Zihan Yang
Biography | I am a PhD student at Durham University, specializing in the environmental impacts of wastewater discharges on UK rivers. My research primarily focuses on water quality analysis through advanced statistical tools such as R and spatial data visualization using ArcGIS. I am also a demonstrator, assisting undergraduate students in geochemistry and earth science courses at Durham University. I have presented my research at the European Geosciences Union (EGU) conference and is currently preparing papers on sewage treatment impacts, metal bioavailability, and chlorophyll dynamics in England. Outside academia, I am an active member of the St. Cuthbert’s Society Hockey team and Durham University Tennis Club. |
