Research Interests My research is in the general areas of computer networks and wireless communications. I study next-generation wireless/mobile multihop network technologies, non-terrestrial networks, multimedia networks, IoT networks, resource utilisation, QoS/QoE, multicasts, network security, mobility management, and parallel and distributed systems. In these areas, I design algorithms/protocols, conduct performance analysis, and develop theoretical analysis.
Teaching and Learning I have designed many new modules in computer networks, computer systems, cyber security, etc. at different levels (BSc or MSc). I am also interested in contributing teaching and learning skills to a wider audience, e.g., acting as an external examiner for BCU, initiating outreach activities, etc.

I have obtained different teaching certificates, including Postgraduate Certificate for Professional Development in Higher Education, Cisco Instructor Certificates, Teaching Catalyst Certificate of Completion Academic Development Programme.
