Valerie Laturnus
| Biography | Valerie joined Durham University as an Assistant Professor in Finance in 2024 after completing her PhD at Goethe University Frankfurt. Her main research interests lie in empirical corporate finance and span a range of topics, including analysts' rating biases, the role of social media in Initial Coin Offerings, trading spillovers of financial misconduct, and the mechanics of decentralised finance (DeFi) and decentralised autonomous organisations (DAOs). |
