Biography Sidrah Javed (S’16, M’21) received her Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical (Telecommunication) Engineering from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Pakistan, in 2012. Following her graduation, she served as a Research Engineer in the Research and Development (R&D) Department at the National Radio and Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC), Pakistan, from 2012 to 2015. Dr. Javed pursued MS/PhD from 2015 to 2021 at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia. In 2023, she contributed her expertise as a Research Consultant at KAUST. Currently, Dr. Javed is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Engineering at Durham University, U.K.
Research Interests Sidrah's current research interests include modelling, design, and performance analysis of wireless communication systems especially satellite- aerial-terrestrial hybrid communications to eliminate digital inequality.
Teaching and Learning Sidrah is currently teaching ENGI3391: Control and Signal Processing 3 and delivering tutorial sessions for ENGI47915: Radio and Digital Communications.
