PhD Topics Prof Groves is always happy to receive speculative applications from students wishing to undertake a PhD or MRes in areas aligned to his current interests. Please note that Prof Groves does not generally have access to funding to support these projects, meaning that interested applicants would have to apply for Scholarships through a competitive process. This usually happens around December each year for entry to a PhD in the following October.
