Biography I work at the intersections of social, cultural, and urban geography. My research focuses on the politics and practices of digital technological changes in Asian cities, with specific work based around Singapore. I also write about post- and decolonial thought in relation to digital and technological practices, religion, food and eating.

My current PhD research explores how cities become reconfigured through spaces of volume and the attendant implications on governance and living. drawing on a case study of urban drone practices in Singapore. As technologies traditionally concerned with monitoring extensiveness and remoteness, drones are increasingly positioned to be used in urban environments particularly in Asia -- which often have some of the highest densities in the world. My research will reflect on questions surrounding the volumetric shifts in urban politics , changing human-space-technology interactions, the role of Asian knowledges in contemporary and future urban governance, and more.
