Carolina Gazmuri

Biography	Carolina is currently pursuing her PhD in the School of Education at Durham University, with a primary research focus on understanding the factors that enable students from disadvantaged backgrounds to succeed against the odds. In her educational background, Carolina earned her M.Ed. in Education Policy and Social Analysis from Columbia University in 2014. Before that, in 2010, she completed her M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and obtained her B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile. Prior to joining Durham, from 2014 to 2022, Carolina established Impacta Consultores in Chile, a consulting firm dedicated to assessing the impact of social programs and providing evidence-based insights to inform decision-makers within the social sector.
