Biography Ahmad Mohammed is a Ph.D. researcher at Durham University specializing in craft landscapes, material culture, and settlement archaeology. His research centers on pottery production in Egypt, employing ethnoarchaeological and chaîne opératoire methods to examine the spatial and social dynamics of ancient workshops. Ahmad is an Assistant Editor for the World Archaeology Journal and an active participant in the Sais Excavation Mission. As the EAMENA Project Coordinator, he focuses on preserving endangered cultural heritage sites in the Middle East, utilizing GIS, remote sensing, and automated change detection. Additionally, he investigates inequality in ancient Egypt using advanced geospatial analysis and statistical tools like the GINI coefficient.
