The “Intellectual Property” Puzzle in the WHO Pandemic Preparedness Treaty: An Appraisal

Abstract
This article provides an overview of the ongoing World Health Organization (WHO) Pandemic Treaty. The analysis examines WHO's past responses to pathogen containment and provides context and rationale for the Treaty's negotiation. It also critically examines relevant intellectual property and technology transfer provisions essential to preparedness for future pandemics.
