Abstract
As the State Grid Corporation of China is improving the Power User Electric Energy Data Acquisition System so that it can collect all necessary electric energy information from all power consumers, the number of acquisition devices is increasing sharply with large amounts of data flooding into the system. Current Power User Electric Energy Data Acquisition Systems have met many bottlenecks. To find effective solutions for these problems, this paper first examines the architecture and demand of Power User Electric Energy Data Acquisition Systems. And, then, by further analyzing advanced technologies in Cloud Computing, which is a highly effective approach for processing Big Data, research about the utilization of Cloud Computing technology for improving Power User Electric Energy Data Acquisition Systems, and related challenges, are carried out. The work of this paper can provide guidance for construction of future Power User Electric Energy Data Acquisition Systems.
