Galgos en el llano: La ecología oscura del campo en Intemperie de Jesús Carrasco

Abstract

El presente artículo ahonda sobre la ecología oscura que late en la novela Intemperie de Jesús Carrasco a través de la figura escuálida del galgo que representa la ambivalencia de la vida en el campo español, la oscilante tensión entre la cruel escasez y la vital coexistencia entre los seres vivos en la meseta del interior. Se analizan las imágenes desoladas del llano, contrastándolas con los idilios pastoriles rememorados en el relato. [English Abstract] This article explores the dark ecology latent in Intemperie by Jesús Carrasco through the figure of the emaciated greyhound that represents the ambivalences of life in the Spanish countryside, an oscillating tension between the cruel scarcity and vital coexistence among living beings in the central plateau. The desolate images of the plains are also analyzed and contrasted with the pastoral reminisced in the narrative.
