Based on the mass continuity, material continuity, and energy conservation principles, a mathematical model has been developed for analysing the performance, parameters of a diffusion absorption refrigeration system. A sample calculation and a parametric study of the effect of different parameters of the system to the COP by using the model are also presented. The results show that different system parameters have more or less effect to the system COP, and the effectiveness of gas heat exchanger has the largest effect to COP.
