Abstract
A computer simulation of an ammonia-water absorption refrigeration system has been developed. A mathematical model for a single-stage ammonia-water absorption system has been demonstrated. The model has eliminated one of the standard assumptions used by previous models found in the literature. Results are compared with previous published models, showed more than 17% difference in the COP for the case studied.
