Second-order rate constants have been determined for deuteroxide ion-catalyzed exchange of the C(3)-proton for deuterium, kDO (M–1 s–1), of a series of 20 triazolium salts in aqueous solution at 25 °C and ionic strength I = 1.0 (KCl). Evidence is pre... Read More about Proton Transfer Reactions of Triazol-3-ylidenes: Kinetic Acidities and Carbon Acid pKa Values for Twenty Triazolium Salts in Aqueous Solution.

The rate constants for exchange of hydrogen for deuterium at the α-CH2 positions of 8-(N,N-dimethylaminonaphthalen-1-yl)acetic acid tert-butyl ester 1 and naphthalen-1-ylacetic acid tert-butyl ester 2 have been determined in potassium deuteroxide sol... Hydrolysis studies of phosphodichloridate and thiophosphodichloridate ions (2012)
Journal Article

We report the pH-kobs profiles for the hydrolyses of phosphodichloridate and thiophosphodichloridate ions in aqueous solutions. Both species show broad pH–kobs plateaus that extend to high pHs.
