Abstract
This paper presents the architecture of a 300 MHz linearly frequency modulated sounder suitable for indoor measurements. The sounder, which uses a digital frequency technique, permits the sampling of the channel at high repetition rates and full bi-dynamic operation. The sounder's performance is presented in both the time and frequency domains with preliminary back-to-back tests.
