GM8: German Studies at the Millenium. German Studies at the Millenium. Edited by Neil Thomas. The essays in this volume give some sense of the range of research and teaching interests in German departments in tertiary education, and demonstrate the evolution that has taken place in these areas in the last few decades. Contributors all have a present or past connection with the German Department of the University of Durham.
