Abstract
Thioxanthene has been converted into 9-(1,3-dithiol-2-ylidene)thioxanthene derivatives which are new two-electron pi-donors; an ambipolar OFET has been fabricated from the covalent 9-( 1,3-dithiol-2-ylidene) thioxanthene-C-60 diad system 6.
