Presentation / Conference Contribution
Hoche, S., Krauss, F., Schonherr, M., & Siegert, F. (2010). Next-to-leading order matrix elements and truncated showers. In M. Diehl, J. Haller, T. Schorner-Sadenius, & G. Steinbruck (Eds.), Physics at the LHC2010. Proceedings, 5th Conference, PLHC2010, Hamburg, Germany, June 7-12, 2010 (199-203)

An algorithm is presented that combines the ME+PS approach to merge sequences of tree-level matrix elements into inclusive event samples with the POWHEG method, which combines exact next-to-leading order matrix elements with parton showers. Presentation / Conference Contribution
Lenz, A. (2004). Decay rate difference in the neutral B-system: Delta gamma (B(s)) and delta gamma(B(d)).

We review the theoretical status of the predictions for the decay rate differences in the neutral B-system. We find (Delta Gamma/Gamma) Bs = (12 pm 5) 10^(-2) and (Delta Gamma/Gamma) Bd = (3 pm 1.2) 10^(-3).

New possibilities in the study of NLL BFKL (2004)
Presentation / Conference Contribution
Andersen, J. R. (2004). New possibilities in the study of NLL BFKL. In E. Auge, & J. T. Thanh Van (Eds.), 2004 QCD and High Energy Hadronic Interactions proceedings of the XXXIXth Rencontres de Moriond: series: Moriond Particle Physics Meetings: La Thuile, Val d'Aoste, Italy, March 28-April 4, 2004 (173-178)

The high energy limit of scattering processes in QCD is, at least on the purely theoretical level, described by the BFKL equation. However, many phenomenological studies of BFKL fail miserably when confronted with data. In this talk we will briefly r... Read More about New possibilities in the study of NLL BFKL.

Next-to-leading order QCD corrections to the lifetime difference of B(s) mesons (1998)
Presentation / Conference Contribution
Lenz, A. (1998). Next-to-leading order QCD corrections to the lifetime difference of B(s) mesons.

In this talk we present a calculation of the dacay rate difference in the neutral Bs − Bs system, ????Bs , in next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD. We find a sizeable decrease compared to leading- order (LO) estimates: (????/????)Bs = (fBs/210MeV )2[0.006... What did we learn in theory from the Delta ACP Saga? (2013)
Presentation / Conference Contribution
Lenz, A., Gersabeck, M., & Parkes, C. (2013). What did we learn in theory from the Delta ACP Saga?.

The measurement of CP violation in the charm sector triggered a lot of theoretical activities and re-considerations. Nevertheless currently neither theory nor experiment have reached definite conclusions about the origin of a large CP violating effec... A New approach to inclusive decay spectra. (2005)
Presentation / Conference Contribution
Gardi, E., & Andersen, J. R. (2005). A New approach to inclusive decay spectra. In E. Auge, & . J. T. Thanh Van (Eds.), Proceedings, 40th Rencontres de Moriond on QCD and High Energy Hadronic Interactions : La Thuile, Aosta Valley, Italy, March 12-19, 2005 (35-43)

The main obstacle in describing inclusive decay spectra in QCD - which, in particular, limits the precision in extrapolating the measured \bar{B} \to X(s) gamma rate to the full phase space as well as in extracting |Vub||Vub| from inclusive measureme... All-Order Corrections To Higgs Boson Production In Association With Jets (2009)
Presentation / Conference Contribution
Andersen, J. R. (2009). All-Order Corrections To Higgs Boson Production In Association With Jets. In E. Auge, J. Dumarchez, B. Pietrzyk, & J. T. Thanh Van (Eds.), Proceedings of the 44th Rencontres de Moriond on QCD and High Energy Interactions, La Thuile, Valle d'Aosta, Italy, 14-21 Mar 2009 (59-62)

We present a new framework for calculating multi-jet observables. The framework is based on the factorisation of scattering amplitudes in the kinematical limit of large invariant mass between all particles. We show that by constraining the analyticit... Presentation / Conference Contribution
Andersen, J. R. (2007). Multi-Jet Processes in the High Energy Limit of QCD. In M. Kuze, K. Nagano, & K. Tokushuku (Eds.), Deep inelastic scattering : proceedings of the 14th International Workshop, Tsukuba, Japan, 20-24 April 2006 (527-530). https://doi.org/10.1142/9789812706706_0121

We discuss how the multi-Regge factorisation of QCD amplitudes can be used in the study of multi-jet processes at colliders. We describe how the next-to-leading logarithmic (NLL) BFKL evolution can be combined with energy and momentum conservation. B... Read More about Multi-Jet Processes in the High Energy Limit of QCD.
