A FURTHER STEP TOWARDS STABLE ORGANIC METALS - ORIENTED FILMS OF POLYANILINE WITH HIGH ELECTRICAL-CONDUCTIVITY AND ANISOTROPY (1994)
Journal Article
Adams, P., Laughlin, P., Monkman, A., & Bernhoeft, N. (1994). A FURTHER STEP TOWARDS STABLE ORGANIC METALS - ORIENTED FILMS OF POLYANILINE WITH HIGH ELECTRICAL-CONDUCTIVITY AND ANISOTROPY. Solid State Communications, 91(11), 875-878

Solvent cast polyaniline films have been uniaxially oriented and their conductivities measured. Magnetic susceptibility measurements reveal that the polymer behaves as a highly one dimensional metallic system.

The BC8 structure (body-centered cubic with eight atoms per cell) is a known pressure-induced modification of both silicon and germanium. However, its diatomic analogue [the SC16 structure (a simple cubic lattice with a basis of 16 atoms)] has never... SPIN DYNAMICS STUDY IN POLYANILINE - MACROSCOPIC AND MICROSCOPIC TRANSPORT PROPERTY RELATIONSHIP (1994)
Journal Article
Travers, J., Leguyadec, P., Adams, P., Laughlin, P., & Monkman, A. (1994). SPIN DYNAMICS STUDY IN POLYANILINE - MACROSCOPIC AND MICROSCOPIC TRANSPORT PROPERTY RELATIONSHIP. Synthetic Metals, 65(2-3), 159-166

Proton spin lattice relaxation times T1 have been measured in the frequency range 7-95 MHZ on a set of unstretched and stretched polyaniline films, together with d.c. conductivity. A highly anisotropic quasi 1D spin diffusion is evidenced in all the... Read More about SPIN DYNAMICS STUDY IN POLYANILINE - MACROSCOPIC AND MICROSCOPIC TRANSPORT PROPERTY RELATIONSHIP.

EFFECTS OF ORDER AND DISORDER ON FIELD-EFFECT MOBILITIES MEASURED ON CONJUGATED POLYMER THIN-FILM TRANSISTORS (1994)
Journal Article
Holland, E., Bloor, D., Monkman, A., Brown, A., Deleeuw, D., Bouman, M., & Meijer, E. (1994). EFFECTS OF ORDER AND DISORDER ON FIELD-EFFECT MOBILITIES MEASURED ON CONJUGATED POLYMER THIN-FILM TRANSISTORS. Journal of Applied Physics, 75(12), 7954-7958

The morphology of conjugated polymer thin films has been controlled by exploiting the processes giving rise to solvatochromism in the initial polymer solutions from which the polymer films were deposited by spin coating. The material used was the sub... Read More about EFFECTS OF ORDER AND DISORDER ON FIELD-EFFECT MOBILITIES MEASURED ON CONJUGATED POLYMER THIN-FILM TRANSISTORS.

The electrochemistry of polyaniline (PANi), which has been chemically synthesized and processed in a variety of ways into thin films, has been studied, and a comparison to those properties observed in thin electrochemically grown PANi films made. In... Read More about A COMPARATIVE-STUDY OF THE ELECTROCHEMICAL PROPERTIES OF DIP-COATED, SPUN, AND LANGMUIR-BLODGETT-FILMS OF POLYANILINE.

We show that a simple pairwise model for covalent materials provides a good description of the high-density fourfold-coordinated metastable phases BC8 and ST12, in agreement with experimental results and ab initio calculations. We use this potential... Read More about Theoretical study of high-density phases of covalent semiconductors. II. Empirical treatment..
